What to do in quarantine at home?

What to do in quarantine at home?

*This article was written during pandemic, but you can still use the ideas from here, if you are on a personal quarantine or just need some ideas how to spend you vacation.

Only a lazy person has not written an article (post) on what to do during the quarantine. We are not lazy (we continue to work even on the weekend announced by the president - we make and deliver gifts by contactless method!), so we decided to write such a list too.

In fact, before that I wanted to believe in the best, and that we would not have to make such a list. But the situation is changing rapidly and, unfortunately, not for the better. Therefore, it is very important to follow the recommendations of doctors and, if possible, self-isolate. And in order not to go crazy in quarantine make your to-do list and slowly cross off items from it, you can use our list as a cheat sheet-template.

  1. General cleaning. Now you can't get away with it! But you can do everything to the max: sort out clothes, papers, tidy up the balcony, wash windows, wash curtains, etc. In general, make a real general cleaning.
  2. Finally sort through the photos on my hard drive. Delete unfortunate shots, organise them into folders - by date and subject. Create a folder with photos for printing. Choose the option on our website where your photos will look best, place an order. Or order a gift with a photo for someone close to you (5% discount with promo code QUARANTINE).

  3. Watch soap operas or rewatch your favourite films. Have a popcorn marathon (you can make it out of buckwheat, did you know?).
  4. Call family and friends to see how you're doing and your health.
  5. To read. Unfortunately, in the eternal work rush, there is not always an opportunity to read quietly. We should not miss such an opportunity.
  6. We hope you haven't been sent on unpaid leave (and fired!), otherwise you'll have to learn how to make money online.
  7. Live a virtual life. Did you know that some museums have created their own online versions? Now you can visit places you've never been to and be culturally enriched without leaving home or spending a lot of money.
Many services have made free access for the quarantine period. This includes various courses, seminars and training marathons. A great opportunity to learn something new!
Also now you can visit online concerts and even an online bar, because after studying and working, albeit remotely, it would be nice to relax, right?
This trend is likely to gain momentum now. After all, the whole world is moving to an online format.
  8. Clean up your phone and social media. Hide unnecessary photos and clear out obscure people. There's always no time for this in everyday life. Now there is.
  9. Send a gift to your parents or friends in another city to brighten up their difficult days. What's best to order as a gift - read on here.
  10. Listen to new music albums.
  11. Play all the board games you have at home. We could have a battle. The loser washes the dishes and the floor.
  12. Make a to-do list for summer, autumn can be inspired by our. Sooner or later the quarantine will be over and you'll need to get into work mode, to-do lists can help make this process less agonising.
  13. Make a rearrangement at home. And if you don't have such an opportunity, you can add something new to the interior. For example, a floor lamp with photos (you just sorted out the piles of photos). Or hang photo cards on the wall in the form of a word or a figure. 33 schemes (ideas) you can check it out on our blog. For this inscription you will need to print 63 square photo cards from us.

  14. Have a spa day with your favourite care treatments. And if there is someone around to give you a massage, that's just wonderful! The next day you can switch places and you will be the masseur.
  15. Cook many different dishes from buckwheat.

  16. Start exercising, do a vacuum, drink the right amount of water, do face fitness.
  17. Try your hand at drawing. Even if you've never tried or don't know how to draw at all. Just find some video tutorials and give yourself some art therapy.
  18. To do any of the things from a list of the craziest goals for a whole life. Why? So you can tell your grandchildren!
  19. To help a small business survive in these tough times - order home delivery from the nearest cafe. Most likely they have already let most of their staff go on holiday and now the owner and the chef themselves are preparing and delivering the order.
  20. Do a home photo shoot for yourself or your family. If you have no idea how to pull it all off, look for inspiration in the our article with ideas.
